The sagittal plane uses front to back movements, and is the plane that most of our every day movements and exercises occur in : walking, running, climbing stairs, vertical jumping, bicep curls, and triceps push-downs. When training your clients, be sure to include exercises in the frontal and transverse planes, as they most likely do not move in those planes as much and having them do so will stimulate their muscles and nervous system in a different manner than they are used too.
